Durand Capers is an NRA certified Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun Instructor, as well as a Range Safety Officer. Originally from Detroit, MI he currently resides just outside of Tampa, FL. He is a current member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), National African American Gun Association (NAAGA), and Black Gun Owners and Education (BGOE). His experience with firearms stretches over 10 years with various caliber and action types. Durand is Pro-2nd Amendment and Pro-Education. In 2016 he earned his Master of Education and is working on an MBA in Data Analytics. His history in the education field came as an Academic Advisor, Instructor, Mentor, and Facilitator. He has classroom experience and knows how to adapt to various learning styles within diverse populations. Durand believes there is a gap between Education and Informed Decisions, just like there is a gap to be bridged between Firearms and Education. Both are there to secure our freedoms.
