Les put on a great class. As with other good instructors, he has a build the shooter up mentality vs. a beat the shooter down mentality. He encourages a growth mindset to all students/competitors in attendance. He has a very humble delivery to his teaching style, meaning he doesn’t flaunt his own ability and is primarily focused on increasing the abilities of those around him. It wasn’t all about him, it was about the student. Teachings included efficiency in movement in many aspects. From stage break down to entering and exiting shooting positions. He also provided several suggestions as well as demonstration thru class exercises how to make training away from class “fun” and not work or some menial task that you have to do. Suggestions that would facilitate taking things to the next level of ability. Drills were relevant with intentional theory and purpose. Les has the ability to reach all ability levels as a result of his professionalism and understanding of shooters and the common trouble areas to focus on having progressed through them himself. In my case, I wanted to break plateaus, identify and correct bad habits that have formed in addition to gaining knowledge to apply and maintain a growth mindset in shooting. Needless to say, he made valid and constructive suggestions. Highly recommend Les as a shooting and shooting theory instructor for all competitive shooters at all skill levels.

Outstanding two day course! Low student to instructor ratio, giving each student great one on one time to work on your game. So much information and technique provided, things I have never even considered. Transitions, splits, MOVEMENT, breaking down a stage, and drills. Drills you can take home and replicate at your range or in your basement. Drills that will dramatically improve your shooting and game. I judge a course/instructor on whether or not I’d take the course again, & I will be back!

Les is very personal, knowledgeable and can quickly see areas where improvements are needed. If you need motivated to shoot better, Les can help light a fire and get you to practice more using his proven and winning techniques.
