    Thomas, was very knowledgeable, he walked me through his defensive pistol course. He made me feel right at home.I feel more confident in my gun manipulations he allowed us to complete drills that you typically do not get to practice at the range. The whole time keeping a professional and safe environment. I look forward to taking future classes.

    Alpha Koncepts Firearm Training is my number one choice for a quality firearm training experience. Thomas is very passionate and is always willing to share his knowledge and skills to ensure that his students understand the proper safety protocols at all times. He makes it a priority to point out things that require improvement by explaining things in a positive tone. This approach is also noticeable with his team of trainers.     Thomas is knowledgeable and the number one thing for him is safety!!!
    Good communication and easy to work with he takes his time to teach.
    He has great staff that’s willing to work with you….one on one if you need.
    I am definitely taking more courses again with Alpha Koncepts.

    Much more confident of my own ability to put “hits on target” after taking his defensive pistol 1 and 2 courses. I’m happy with my training and hope to take more courses down the road.

    I’m a repeat customer, which explains how I feel about what Alpha Koncepts has to offer. Thomas and his staff provide one on one attention, if needed. The course was exceptional, and more than I thought. It provided excellent techniques and situational awareness, which God forbid you will have to use one day. The courses also provided “dry fire” exercises that you can work on,

    I can definitely say, much to my surprise, that my shooting improved throughout the day! I never thought I would be able to hit an 8.5 X 11 target from 20 yards (I’ve only been carrying since May 2022, and it’s now November 2022), but I was able to twice (usually at the range, I’m way off at 10 yards). I can also definitely say that I feel more confident conceal carrying.

    Once again, Thomas is great, as is his staff. They are there to help you improve — you may be surprised at your results! I am definitely taking his courses again. There is always something that you can work on that you can’t in the range, and this provides the best opportunity.

    Thomas is very knowledgeable in what he teaches. He is absolutely about safety when comes to handling firearms. He is more than willing to help and pass on his knowledge to his students. Very good communication and easy to work with! You can’t go wrong taking his classes.

    Thom is easy to work with and flexible. If you’re not clicking with something he seems to be able to shift gears and find something that will work for you. He’s very student-oriented I’d say. No BS, no ego, and just cool to work with. I absolutely plan on doing more training w/Alpha Konccepts and Thom.

Biography

Since 2013, Alpha Koncepts has been offering students NRA Basic Pistol and Illinois Concealed Carry training classes. As one of the first approved instructors in Illinois, very few people have been doing it longer! Thomas Kral, the Chief Firearm Instructor, is the 45th approved instructor in Illinois and 13th in Cook County. In addition, in 2014 Thomas Kral founded GunRights4Illinois, a gun rights advocacy group and he keeps in tune with the current events related to the changes to the gun laws in Illinois. His passion is unparalleled.
